New Stuff plus Event OCT 11

I probably get about a shipment of new stuff in a week. Don't be afraid to come in and check it out. I definitely don't put everything on the website. Since my last post I have gotten orders from Alien and Deluxe and plenty more stuff through distribution.

Galaxie Coaches Jackets - only 10 made - these will probably go fast. Also look out for Galaxie hoodies and some other stuff in the near future. We even have a male model. Ryan Vail is not much on the conversation, but he's pretty in the face. Here are a few pictures.

Also on Sunday the 11th, the city of Newport will be shutting down the street in front of the shop for some health event. We will be setting up some boxes to skate from 2 to 5. The business next door will be grilling corn (wait until you taste it) and there will be some different stuff going on up and down the street. If you are in the neighborhood you should stop by. Relief Troopers In

At $35 these go really fast. If you are hurting for a good cheap skate shoe, give them a shot. In other news, if you did not know already, the ramp is back together under the bridge. If you are under there, please pick up your trash when you leave and help us keep the bikes off. The surface is not thick enough to withstand the impact. Also when they fall their peddles/pegs take chunks out of the surface.

More New Shoes

Posting about shoes makes me feel like a jerk but we got some new ones in recently. Added Etnies to the mix. Also I put a ton of the older stuff on sale. There are some good sizes in the $40 range now. Get 'em while they're hot or some other stupid cliche term that a person writes on their website when they get new stuff. In other news, Seth (or you might know him as "The kid who looks like Geoff Rowley but doesn't know who Geoff Rowley is") finally let me shave his scumstach. Good job Seth.

Got some new shoes in

Lately I have been hurting on the shoe front. Just got a few in from vox. Pesto Hewitt 2s, Red Beer Hunter Hewitts and the blue collar strubing 2s. Should probably be getting some emericas, es and etnies in the next 2 weeks along with more relief troopers.

Some New Stuff and Ramp News

Well its about 1:30 in the morning and I am still cleaning the back room. If you have been back here in the last two months you know it is high time it happens. Also a sad goodbye to the kegerator. Some times you have an idea that is so good it is destined for failure. That was one of those ideas. Some new stuff from Alien and Habitat just in. The painter caps are sick and they did not end up making them so once the samples I have are gone, they are gone for good. Lots of good shirts and boards as well. New Cincinnati Board company from Scott Zellner "Transitive Skateboards". $42. There is a lot of good wood to choose from locally. So......... you should get on that.

Reconstruction of the ramp started today. Hopefully we will have it done in about a week. We had to level the ground first today by hand. I would not recommend this. Just get a BobCat. I also think I am feeling a possible "little sandwich day" at the shop. For some reason I think sandwiches are so much tastier when they are little. Could be true, could just all be in my head.
